The MLB is set with a different full night of activity on Friday night. There will be a total of fifteen matches on the plank August 16 as a second weekend of baseball begins. One of those matchups the night to end will be between the Los Angeles Angels and the Chicago White Sox. These two teams have been set to meet around 10:07 PM Eastern time on Friday night.
The White Sox have made a record of 54-66 for this stage in this season, which has been sitting in third place of the AL Central. Chicago has not had the season, but they will look to try and finish powerful as the year nears its end. The White Sox have won just two of the last few games and will look to keep this streak going with a road victory against the Angels.
Los Angeles has a record of 60-63 this year, which has them sitting in position of the AL West. The Angels have struck a small dry spell because of late, losing ten of their last fourteen games. If they catch alluring in these final weeks of this season, los Angeles is eleven games back of a wild card spot in the American League, however could make a push to this.
The White Sox and the Angels equally have records that are losing however, are currently looking to end strong. The two rosters are strong and should match up well with each other again. Chicago and Los Angeles are meeting up within their very first series for the season. Last nights match was a fantastic night to feel out each other, which should lead to a second matchup.
The White Sox and the Angels met annually. The first series was hosted by Chicago in the years later stages. The White Sox managed to acquire 4-2 and 5-3 to the two games, but Los Angeles bounced back to win the game and the third by dozens of 11-3 and 12-8. The series shifted to Los Angeles, in which Chicago swept with scores of 5-2, 12-3 and 1-0.
The very first game of this series has been last night at Los Angeles. The Angels got started as Mike Trout and Justin Upton homered to help direct Los Angeles to a 8-2 lead. Jose Abreu homered in the seventh inning to pull it closer. Welington Castillo needed a homer for the White Sox at the top of the ninth as Chicago made a comeback drive. Though since they dropped 8-7 the White Sox effort fell short.
The Angeles could pull off another win against the White Sox on Thursday night and set up a list of 5-2 from Chicago last season. Chicago will have to have a better start on Friday night if they would like to bounce back in the loss of last night. If the White Sox can ride the momentum from last nights ninth-inning though, I feel they can win in the second match of the collection.
Jose Abreu has put up a solid performance making 133 hits, and 89 RBIs run. Leury Garcia includes 126 strikes and 34 RBIs. Tim Anderson has made 110 hits, 12 homers and 40 RBIs. Although Eloy Jimenez includes 76 hits, 20 home runs and 47 RBIs on the season, james McCann has set up 86 strikes, 13 homers and 43 RBIs.
David Fletcher contributes Los Angeles in hits with 123, but has 5 home runs and 42 RBIs. Mike Trout directs this team with 121 hits, 40 homers, 93 RBIs and an OPS of 1.093. 99 hits have been made by kole Calhoun, and 60 RBIs run. Shohei Ohtani includes 90 hits, 15 home runs and 49 RBIs. Although Brian Goodwin has 10 homers and 80 hits albert Pujols has 86 hits, 18 home runs and 70 RBIs.
These two teams have hitters but that I think the Angels have a small edge with Mike Trout within their lineup. The White Sox are currently missing Yoan Moncada, that has 112 strikes and 20 home runs. Should they go up from pitching these lineups Both can do a little harm though.
The White Sox will have Lucas Giolito start on the mound for the lean of Friday night. Giolito has put up an album through 23 starts this year. In all those starts, he has published an ERA of 3.42 and a WHIP of 1.127. Giolito start came against the Oakland As, in which he allowed two runs and five hits during six innings with 13 strikeouts.
Patrick Sandoval will start for Los Angeles at the match of Friday night. Sandoval has only played in two matches and has one start this season. In those two games, hes got a 5.59 ERA and a WHIP of all 1.552. The launch of sandoval came against the Boston Red Sox. Sandoval allowed four runs and six hits through two-thirds and also four innings.
I think that the White Sox have a wonderful edge in this matchup when it comes to pitching. Giolito has put up a solid season for Chicago, while Sandoval has not been fantastic and has only played twice. I believe that the White Sox will have a opportunity to get an early lead against Sandoval, which could give them the advantage in this game.
I think that the White Sox are going to be able to bounce back with a win of their own on Friday night, although the Angeles managed to win the first game of this series. Chicago and Los Angeles match on the hitting side, but using Giolito beginning for the White Sox, I like them to pull off the win. Sandoval has been subpar in his games played so far and I do not anticipate a wonderful start on Friday night.
BetOnline includes Los Angeles. This means that the Angels will win this match around 55.4 percent of their moment. I believe that this game should be a lot closer to much, which gives a good deal of value. I am taking Chicago to bounce back in the loss of Thursday night.
