Former England half-back Rangi Chase has signed a contract with Betfred League One club Doncaster.
The Man of Steel started playing with the South Yorkshire club July following the completion of a two-year suspension for cocaine usage and has decided to extend his stay until the end of 2020.
“I’m pleased to receive it on the line,” Chase told the club’s website.
“In my head I was constantly likely to remain here but it’s great to get it sorted and I could anticipate the future”
Doncaster chief executive Carl Hall stated:”Rangi has revealed his class on and off the pitch because joining the club, and it has given us an added threat within our attacking game.
“[Head coach] Richard Horne made it obvious just how important it was that we got the deal completed, together with Rangi being such a significant participant along with other clubs demonstrating a keen interest in him.
“To get secured his signature for second year is massive for our club.”
